Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Tyler's Mobile Boat & RV Services, LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our website at tylersboats.com (the “Site”) or booking any mobile boat or RV repair service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.


Mobile Boat and RV Repair Services

We provide professional, mobile repair and maintenance services for boats and recreational vehicles (RVs) across Northern, Utah and surrounding areas. Our services include:

  • On-site diagnostics
  • Mechanical repairs
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Seasonal maintenance 
  • Limited emergency mobile assistance 

Note: Services are subject to technician availability and geographic limitations.
 

Service Appointments and Cancellations

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance by phone, email, or through our online form.
  • We may reschedule or cancel appointments due to weather, safety risks, over-booking or equipment availability. 
  • A cancellation fee to the customer may apply for appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
     

Estimates and Payment Terms

  • Final pricing depends on labor, parts, and travel distance.
  • Full payment is due upon completion or our cancellation of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted forms of payment: cash, credit/debit cards, Venmo, and other approved mobile payment methods.
     

Mobile Service Area & Travel Charges

  • We proudly serve Northern Utah and nearby areas along the Wasatch Front.
  • A travel fee may apply based on your location and distance from our base in Centerville, Utah.
  • Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed on our website or our Work Order documentation before your appointment commences.
     

Customer Responsibilities

By booking service with us, you agree to:

  • Provide safe, legal, and accessible conditions for service at your location. 
  • Ensure that pets and personal items are secured during service.
  • Accurately describe the issue and vehicle condition when scheduling.
  • A fresh water hose bib and 120v power outlet is required onsite.
     

Workmanship Guarantee and Limitations

  • We offer a [30-day workmanship warranty on qualifying repairs. 
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to any new parts we install.
  • We are not responsible for:
    • Pre-existing damage
    • Undisclosed mechanical issues
    • Failures caused by client misuse or negligence
    • Weather related damages

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. By using our services, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Utah courts.

Return & Refund Policy - Centerville Mobile Boat Repair

 Effective Date: 05/22/2025 


At Tyler’s Mobile Boat & RV Services, LLC, customer satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to delivering high-quality mobile repair and maintenance services for boats and recreational vehicles throughout northern, Utah and surrounding areas.

Because we operate as a mobile service business, our refund policy is designed to balance fairness for our clients and compensation for the time, labor, travel and parts we invest in each job.


Service Fees Are Non-Refundable Once Work Begins

Once a technician arrives on-site and begins diagnostic or repair work, service fees and labor charges are non-refundable, even if:

  • The customer chooses to cancel during the repair
  • The issue is determined to be beyond repair
  • Additional issues are discovered during the service

We charge based on time and effort spent, even if the service outcome is limited by equipment age, condition, or manufacturer limitations.


Deposits and Advance Payments

Some services may require a deposit for parts, specialty equipment, or lengthy jobs. Deposits are non-refundable if:

  • The job is canceled by the customer less than 24 hours before the scheduled service
  • Parts have already been ordered
  • Work has already been initiated

If we must cancel the job due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, we will refund 100% of the deposit or reschedule at your convenience.


Refunds for Parts

If a new part is defective or fails within the manufacturer’s warranty period, we will:

  • Replace the part under its manufacturer's warranty
  • Reinstall it at our discounted labor cost.
  • Process a return or refund if applicable based on the part supplier’s policy

Note: Opened, used, or installed parts may not be eligible for refund unless proven defective by the manufacturer.
 

Refunds for Missed Appointments or Customer No-Shows

If a customer is not present at the agreed time and location, or access to the repair site is not available:

  • A service call fee may still be charged
  • No refund will be issued for time or travel already invested

To avoid this, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule.


Disputes and Resolution

If you believe you are entitled to a refund or credit, please contact us within 7 days of service with:

  • Your name
  • Service date
  • Location
  • A detailed explanation of the issue

We will review each case individually and work with you to find a fair resolution.
