Sterndrive Lower Unit Gear Oil Change
For freshwater lake-use sterndrives, we drain the old gear oil, refill with the manufacturer-appropriate lubricant, replace routine drain/vent seals when needed, and check the old fluid for obvious signs of water or metal. If the drive is trying to tell us a sad story, we stop and discuss the next step before adding repairs.
